Vacation!

Visiting my parents for Thanksgiving, for the first time since I was a senior in high school. Except that I wasn’t actually “visiting” then, since I lived here. Which sort of makes this the first time I’ve *ever* visited my parents for Thanksgiving — which sounds even worse.

Three seminars in one day, after an aimless morning. And then we had decent cider and average donuts at the department mixer. Caramel apples, too, although I’ve never been partial to those.

I’m trying to decide between a new camera (the Canon A85) and a new PDA (Dell Axim X30, with wireless). Both my
