Chiefly on food

Day after my wisdom teeth are out. The care sheet says to eat only on the other side of my mouth, and not to poke at the hole with my fingers or tongue. So, I figure I shouldn’t eat stuff that’s got little bits in it – especially little bits just the right size to wind up perched on my gum.

Do you know how many different foods there are that have little bits in them? Or that turn into little bits when you chew?

Grits. Nice and soft. With cheese – yum. Little bits.

Chicken soup with stars. (Generic chicken soup with stars, at that.) Nice and soft. Salty – yum. Little bits.

So far there’s just pudding and pudding pops. And I’m getting kind of sick of pudding. Maybe I’ll switch to jello.

On a much happier note, there’s almost no pain at all, and I didn’t even take the hydrocodone this morning.
