I’m gonna get you little fishies!

Just a day. The experiment this morning (that I spent all of yester– okay, the half of yesterday that I actually did anything — rewriting the software for) worked okay, except that we wound up with fewer data points than usual – lately I’ve been taking 30-40 frames and this was only 15. At least it was fast, but I’m not sure there’s enough stuff there to pull decent correlations out of the noise.
Defrosted the lab (food) refrigerator and helped clean the fish tank. I think I do want a fish tank; my new roommate and new landlord didn’t object, and it’d be nice to try it. I was thinking small, 1-2 gallons, maybe a couple tetras or something. Any fish lovers care to suggest something pretty but hard-to-kill?
Parents and sister are safely over the hurricane; phone service was working again Monday night, although they didn’t have power back yet – it was out again last night. No major damage, just some downed trees in the neighborhood. The eye passed right overhead, apparently. This is slightly rare; growing up in Florida for 14 years, I don’t remember more than half a dozen hurricanes worth getting excited over that headed our way. Glad this wasn’t bad (locally, at least).
