Memo to self: Next time I decide (?) to fall in love with someone, make sure that
* she’s not planning to leave school, or her job, or otherwise move
* casual friendliness? or serious interest? find out first.
* she’s not already seeing someone who actually turns up only in casual references and then at her farewell party
For only about the second time in my life, I vaguely wish I drank, it’d be a handy way to keep from thinking tonight. Stupid might-have-beens.
