Mmm, progress.
Been trying [Blogexplosions] [1] this afternoon – technically it’s “Fall Break” today and tomorrow, and I’m rather distinctly unmotivated for work. I was rather amused by how “personal sites” now are practically unchanged from “personal sites” of, say, 1997…. it’s still people I don’t know rambling on about their cats and their jobs and their clever-but-unoriginal insight into the third debate and how it all ties in to their favorite band. And a big list of links.
The good news, of course, is that we’re all rambling on using WordPress, or Movable Type, or LiveJournal, or Blogger, instead of Geocities, so it’s all nicely formatted and easy to add stuff and occasionally we even manage to keep it valid XHTML.
