Site changes

Changed the theme. “Human Condition” (by Ian Main) should work better on other peoples’ computers, and it looks vaguely wintery.

A couple minor tweaks to the code. (Apparently WP 1.2.1 can become completely broken if someone types in the wrong site name. Also, the calendar in the arrr!chives was marking any day with the same number as “today” as “today”. Easily fixed, but why hasn’t someone fixed them before now? or even (gasp!) thought of that when writing the calendar code?)

And a new picture… the randomly-cropped “fall” picture was fun, but the cropping code needs work, and it ws time for something new anyway. That’s a red-necked wallaby looking at you.

Oh yeah, and comments should be working better now too. (The list of “spam” words must not include a blank line at the end, or else any comment with a blank line is seen as spam and needs moderation. And somehow the mail to approve it doesn’t always get sent. Again… a simple fix, but really, that should be listed somewhere. I grow slightly less impressed with WordPress.) So, if you’ve been wondering why your non-spammy comments take forever to show up… that was why.
