Stormy weather

Group meeting went well, got some good suggestions for pulling different stress features out of the data, got to do lots of freehand sketches on the board because I’m a couple figures behind on presentation-quality artwork. (“A few figures short of a paper”?)
Been watching Frances lurch towards my parents’ house. It looks like the eye will pass a bit north of them, but they’re definitely in for some bad weather. All boarded up but with no place to go; the roads are all clogged. My mom predicted 30 hours or so for it to pass over, and writes:
>Have asked Sarah to plan how she wants to spend 30 hours of close communication with her parents; for now she is claiming 10 long games of Monopoly.
which leaves me praying that Monopoly will be the worst they face.
