This is taking way too long.

It’s 2 a.m. and I’m sitting here wondering how hard it is to make dehydrated/instant soup.   This, just after realizing why I keep Aqua around… there’s some stuff that you can only listen to after 9 hours of doing one experiment, and then you really do need it.

Yes, nine hours for one experiment, even though 2.5 minutes x 100 load/measure cycles is only supposed to take a bit over 4, maybe 4 and a half tops.  Apparently there’s an extra delay loop set too high somewhere or something, but I really don’t have the time to investigate too closely right now… even if it takes all night to get this data, I really really need it tonight.  Because the rest of the lab really really needs this data this week.  Nice to be needed, but I can’t help but question the wisdom of giving this project to the new guy.  At least I’m getting plenty of help with it.

And yes, I’d go home and come back, or hit the gym or something, except for the nice little fact that the bone has to be basted every 20-30 minutes to keep it from drying out, and nobody’s thought of a working automatic baster yet.

I wonder how much soup bones this small would make… *bwahahahah*.
