So…. scientists can’t even build switches to tell a spacecraft to brake as it’s coming down for reentry, they can’t keep dangerous fish from invading lakes thousands of miles from their original home, … but _of course_ they should be allowed – nay, encouraged! with lots of grants! – to research human cloning. ‘Cause, y’know, it’d be a Good Thing.
Or is it just because them pesky religious fanatics claim there’s some kind of ethical problem or something? It’d be interesting to see how many scientists change their minds if they’re told that such research is religiously _commanded_. Maybe that was the real plan of the Raelians all along?
