movin’ on out, to the west side

Actually *from* the west side to downtown. Which sort of brings me back to the starting point, after living on the north side, then the east side, then the west side. (Never on the south side, ’cause that’s dull.)
Starting to sell off furniture and stuff too, to avoid having to move it down to… wherever I wind up next. Entertainment center went Monday night, couch tonight. Finally — been trying to get rid of that for ten days now, with almost as many offers that went nowhere. Sort of sad to see it go, although I never liked it all that much.
Went camping this past weekend, in the SW corner of Ontario. Very spur of the moment trip — we’d talked about it this summer but the timing never worked out, and then suddenly everyone turned out to be free for the weekend as of Friday afternoon. So… load up the car and go. 
We saw Point Pelee National Park (southernmost part of mainland Canada), camped at Rondeau Prov. Park on the shore of Lake Erie, saw London, a little of Lake Huron, then came back through Sarnia/Port Huron. Good trip!
